In the context of modern education, student involvement in non-academic activities demands balanced time management skills. This study used a quantitative approach with an ex post facto design. The research sample amounted to 60 extracurricular coach teachers and subject teachers selected through the total sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire on three main variables: self-efficacy, teacher academic support, and student time management. Validity was tested through item total correlation, and reliability was tested with Cronbach’s Alpha. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 26 through multiple linear regression tests. The results showed that teacher self-efficacy had a significant effect on students’ time management ability, while teacher academic support did not show a significant effect, partially. However, simultaneously, both variables contributed 47.6% to time management. This finding emphasizes the importance of the teacher’s role in guiding students to manage time in a balanced manner between academic and extracurricular activities. Hopefully, this study can serve as a foundation for developing more responsive teaching strategies and teacher guidance, enabling students to manage their time effectively and achieve a balanced performance between academic and extracurricular activities, while also providing recommendations for schools to enhance professional development programs for teachers with a focus on time management guidance strategies
Ahmad Farhan Rif’an Najib Hafilda Anisa Copyright (c) 2025 Ahmad Farhan Rif’an Najib, Hafilda Anisa http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-09-25 2025-09-25 14 3 843 858 10.54437/urwatulwutsqo.v14i3.2406 Comparative Study of the Use of Video-Based Learning Media and Textbooks on Fiqh Learning Outcomes https://jurnal.stituwjombang.ac.id/index.php/UrwatulWutsqo/article/view/2296
This study examines the comparative use of video-based learning media and textbooks on the learning outcomes of Fikih students in grade XI at SMK Diponegoro Ploso Jombang. This study employs a qualitative approach using library research methods. Primary sources include authoritative hadith collections such as Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abu Dawud, Sunan at-Tirmidzi, and Musnad Ahmad. Secondary sources include hadith commentaries and contemporary Islamic educational literature. Data collection techniques were conducted through documentary studies, then analysed using content and thematic analysis approaches. Data validity was maintained through source triangulation and hadith quality checks using the takhrij method. The research findings indicate that the concept of the Prophet Muhammad's parenting style includes compassion, exemplary behaviour (uswah hasanah), respect for the child's existence, instilling manners, and early spiritual education. This pattern is not only normative but also practical and contextual for application in child-rearing in the modern era, which is filled with moral and social challenges. These findings contribute theoretically to the development of Islamic education science and practically to Muslim families in establishing sunnah-based parenting patterns.
Nurul Faizatus Sholikah Saiful Amien Moh. The findings reveal a significant gap between the availability of assets, including physical assets (workshops, laboratories), movable assets, and human assets (educators and students), and their collective mobilisation, attributed to the absence of a collaborative framework or "social contract" institutionalised within the school environment. To address this, the study integrated modern community development models such as Appreciative Inquiry and the BAGJA framework with local wisdom through the educational philosophy "Ing Ngarso Sung Tulodo, Ing Madyo Mangun Karsa, Tut Wuri Handayani," resulting in culturally relevant and acceptable adaptations for the local community. The limitations of this study lie in its focus on a single case study and the use of qualitative methods alone, making it difficult to generalise the findings broadly. Therefore, further research with a more diverse scope and a mixed-methods approach is recommended to provide a more effective policy foundation for asset-based community development in vocational high schools
Raindra Anggraeni Rosmalinda Sobari Sobari Copyright (c) 2025 Raindra Anggraeni Rosmalinda, Sobari Sobari http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-10-07 2025-10-07 14 3 903 915 10.54437/urwatulwutsqo.v14i3.2444 Deep Learning: Adaptive Solutions Towards Inclusive 21st Century Education https://jurnal.stituwjombang.ac.id/index.php/UrwatulWutsqo/article/view/2517
The demands of 21st-century education require a paradigm shift in learning that goes beyond the mere transfer of knowledge toward the development of critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills. At the same time, the education system is expected to embody the principle of inclusivity to ensure that every learner has equal access to meaningful learning opportunities. This article aims to analyze the relevance and potential of deep learning pedagogy as an adaptive approach to support inclusive education in the 21st century. The study employed a library research method by reviewing academic literature, including books, reputable journal articles, and both national and international policy documents. The findings indicate that deep learning pedagogy emphasizes conceptual understanding, higher-order thinking, and active student participation, aligning with the demands of 21st-century competencies. Moreover, integrating deep learning with inclusivity principles allows diverse learners, including those with special needs, to engage actively through project-based, collaborative, and digital learning strategies. Nevertheless, the implementation in Indonesia faces several challenges, such as teachers’ readiness, limited facilities, and the dominance of teacher-centered practices. The article concludes that deep learning pedagogy offers a transformative solution for enhancing both quality and equity in education, while further empirical research is required to test its implementation in various educational contexts.
Randi Nur Ikhsan Agus Setiawan Copyright (c) 2025 Randi Nur Ikhsan, Agus Setiawan http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-10-09 2025-10-09 14 3 916 930 10.54437/urwatulwutsqo.v14i3.2517 The Transformation of Moral Education Through Strategic Management Based on Islamic Values https://jurnal.stituwjombang.ac.id/index.php/UrwatulWutsqo/article/view/2445
This study examines the strategies and implementation of Islamic character education at Madrasah Aliyah Asshidiqiyah Karawang, with a focus on integrating Islamic values into the curriculum, teaching methods, and school culture. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and document analysis. The findings reveal a holistic approach that integrates Islamic values into both academic and extracurricular activities, such as project-based learning, congregational prayers, dhikr (remembrance), and social service programs. Teachers serve as primary role models, supported by parental involvement and school policies. Despite challenges like limited teacher training, external environmental influences, and less-than-optimal parental participation, the character education program significantly improved students’ discipline, honesty, and social responsibility. The study concludes that Islamic character education is effective when implemented comprehensively and collaboratively among schools, teachers, and families. It recommends enhancing teacher training, strengthening community partnerships, and conducting ongoing evaluations to ensure the program’s sustainability and success.
M.
