In the context of today's competitive era, Islamic boarding schools are required to be adaptive and innovative in order to produce graduates who are not only excellent in religious studies but also competitive in the professional world. This study uses a qualitative approach with field research. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews with the Islamic boarding school leadership and the Head of the Education Bureau as the main sources, supported by observation and documentation. Data analysis was conducted inductively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing based on the dynamics of the process in the field. The results of the study indicate that the curriculum development strategy at the Nahdatul Ulum Sarampu Islamic Boarding School is formulated based on the institution's vision and mission, taking into account community needs and global challenges. Curriculum planning is carried out systematically through in-depth studies by the pesantren leadership to determine the direction and objectives of the education programme. The strategy is implemented through the establishment of new educational units such as Tahfidzul Qur'an, Tartil Qur'an, and the Al-Miftah method, as well as the development of external activities that foster independence and skills among students in creating employment opportunities. The contribution of this research lies in emphasising the importance of integrating traditional pesantren values with the demands of educational modernisation, thereby producing a curriculum development model that is relevant, adaptive, and remains based on Islamic principles.
Mustari Mustari, Muhammad Nur Hakim, Nur Munir, Binti Masrufa Copyright (c) 2025 Mustari Mustari, Muhammad Nur Hakim, Nur Munir, Binti Masrufa http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.stituwjombang.ac.id/index.php/attadbir/article/view/2496 Thu, 13 Nov 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Implementation of Internal Quality Assurance Management in Meeting Educational Facility and Infrastructure Standards https://jurnal.stituwjombang.ac.id/index.php/attadbir/article/view/2571
This study aims to analyse the implementation of Internal Quality Assurance Management (MPMI) in meeting National Education Standards (SNP), particularly in terms of facilities and infrastructure at SMP Negeri 5 Jombang. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation, as well as interactive data analysis through the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of IQM at SMP Negeri 5 Jombang has been carried out systematically through the Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) cycle as stipulated in Permendikbud No. 28 of 2016. The quality mapping process was carried out through participatory School Self-Evaluation (EDS), the results of which were integrated into programme planning, teacher competency development, and data-based facility and infrastructure management. The school also implemented open monitoring and evaluation to ensure the sustainability of quality improvement. This research contributes to the development of educational management theory by strengthening the concept of participation-based Total Quality Management (TQM) and evidence-based planning. The findings are expected to serve as a practical reference for other educational units in building an adaptive, transparent, and sustainable quality culture through the implementation of an integrated internal quality assurance system.
Zahrotun Ni’mah Afif, Mar’atul Azizah, Lia Miftahur Rohmah, Muhammad Fadhlan Refa Copyright (c) 2025 Zahrotun Ni’mah Afif, Mar’atul Azizah, Lia Miftahur Rohmah, Muhammad Fadhlan Refa http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.stituwjombang.ac.id/index.php/attadbir/article/view/2571 Thu, 13 Nov 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Integrasi Human Capital Management dan Spiritualitas Islam dalam Meningkatkan Profesionalisme Guru Madrasah https://jurnal.stituwjombang.ac.id/index.php/attadbir/article/view/2570
This study aims to analyse the application of Human Capital Management (HCM) in enhancing the professionalism of teachers based on Islamic spirituality in madrasahs. The research approach uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. This study focuses on how HCM principles are applied in teacher management, including aspects of recruitment, competency development, performance appraisal, and the integration of Islamic spiritual values into the madrasah work culture. The results show that the application of HCM is still simple and administrative in nature. The teacher recruitment process emphasises moral aspects and Islamic commitment rather than professional competence, while teacher development programmes have not been implemented systematically and sustainably. Teacher performance assessments do not yet reflect strategic HCM principles, but the values of sincerity, responsibility, and religious awareness are key strengths in building work ethic, loyalty, and teacher professionalism. The integration of Islamic spirituality has been proven to strengthen teachers' character and create a work culture based on religious values. This study contributes to expanding the concept of Islamic Human Capital Management by adding the dimension of spiritual capital as an important foundation in human resource development in Islamic educational institutions.
Ubaidillah Ubaidillah, Muhammad Heru Hresnawanza Copyright (c) 2025 Ubaidillah Ubaidillah, Muhammad Heru Hresnawanza http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.stituwjombang.ac.id/index.php/attadbir/article/view/2570 Thu, 13 Nov 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Peran Budaya Organisasi Berbasis Nilai Keislaman dalam Meningkatkan Mutu Pendidikan https://jurnal.stituwjombang.ac.id/index.php/attadbir/article/view/2187
This study aims to analyse the role of organisational culture in improving the quality of education in Islamic-based secondary schools. This study is motivated by the importance of organisational culture as a driving force in shaping a positive learning environment, enhancing teacher professionalism, and strengthening the participation of the entire school community. The research approach uses a qualitative method with a case study design conducted at SMP Negeri 4 Langsa. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation study, then analysed using the interactive analysis model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and thematic conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the organisational culture at SMP Negeri 4 Langsa stems from the values of religiosity, discipline, and togetherness that are internalised in school routines. These values create a conducive learning climate, strengthen teacher professionalism through collaboration and learning reflection, and foster active participation from the entire school community. The participatory leadership of the principal is a key factor in fostering a sense of ownership and collective responsibility for the quality of the institution. A religious and inclusive work culture has proven to be the foundation for improving the effectiveness and sustainability of education. Theoretically, this article contributes to expanding the concept of educational organisational culture by adding spiritual and participatory dimensions as integral elements in the development of Islamic value-based school quality. Practically, the results of this study provide an implementable model for educational institutions to integrate religious values into management systems and teacher professional development as an effort to build a superior and character-based educational ecosystem.
Tiara Amalia, Subiyantoro Subiyantoro Copyright (c) 2025 Tiara Amalia, Subiyantoro Subiyantoro http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.stituwjombang.ac.id/index.php/attadbir/article/view/2187 Thu, 13 Nov 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Manajemen Pemberdayaan OSIS dalam Pembentukan Karakter Kepemimpinan Siswa https://jurnal.stituwjombang.ac.id/index.php/attadbir/article/view/2581
This study aims to analyse the empowerment management of the Intra-School Student Organisation (OSIS) in shaping student leadership character at MTs Miftahul Huda Silir Wates Kediri. This study stems from the importance of the role of OSIS as a strategic vehicle in developing the leadership potential of students based on Islamic values. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with subjects consisting of the head of the madrasah, OSIS advisors, and OSIS administrators. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies, then analysed using data reduction, data presentation, and interactive conclusion-drawing techniques to gain an in-depth understanding of the management practices applied. The results of the study indicate that OSIS empowerment in this madrasah is implemented through four main management functions, namely participatory planning, democratic organisation, experiential learning, and reflective evaluation oriented towards the formation of Islamic leadership character. The synergy between these functions produces a student leadership profile that is religious, disciplined, communicative, and responsible. Academically, this article contributes to strengthening the study of Islamic education management, particularly in the development of an Islamic leadership education model that integrates modern management principles and Islamic spiritual values. The results of this study can serve as a conceptual reference for Islamic educational institutions in designing strategies for empowering student organisations as effective, adaptive leadership laboratories rooted in transcendental moral values.
Mujahidin Mujahidin, Siti Zuliani, Miftahul Ulum Copyright (c) 2025 Mujahidin Mujahidin, Siti Zuliani, Miftahul Ulum http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.stituwjombang.ac.id/index.php/attadbir/article/view/2581 Fri, 14 Nov 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Strategi Supervisi Akademik Integratif Kepala Madrasah untuk Pengembangan Profesionalisme Guru https://jurnal.stituwjombang.ac.id/index.php/attadbir/article/view/2584
This article aims to analyse the Integrative Academic Supervision Strategy of Madrasah Principals for Teacher Professionalism Development as an effort to improve teacher professionalism. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation study, then analysed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and interactive conclusion drawing. The results showed that the madrasah principal successfully integrated the three functions synergistically. The managerial function was manifested in systematic and participatory supervision planning. The pedagogical function was evident in teacher development through reflective dialogue and professional training. Meanwhile, the evaluative function was applied through continuous assessment accompanied by constructive follow-up. The integration of these three functions not only improved teachers' pedagogical competence but also fostered a collaborative and reflective culture in the madrasah environment. This article contributes to the development of Islamic education management studies by strengthening the concept of integrative academic supervision that positions the madrasah principal as an instructional leader and agent of change in improving the quality of education.
Moh Zahiq, Ananda Wira Kusuma Copyright (c) 2025 Moh Zahiq, Ananda Wira Kusuma http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.stituwjombang.ac.id/index.php/attadbir/article/view/2584 Sat, 15 Nov 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Implementasi Staffing dalam Upaya Peningkatkan Mutu SDM di Madrasah https://jurnal.stituwjombang.ac.id/index.php/attadbir/article/view/2504
This study aims to analyse the implementation of staffing functions in improving the quality of human resources (HR) at Madrasah Aliyah Sunan Kalijaga Pakuncen. These findings indicate that a value-based staffing system in Islamic educational institutions can serve as an integrative human resource management model that combines professionalism, spirituality, and institutional loyalty.
Sony Eko Adisaputro, Solechan Solechan Copyright (c) 2025 Sony Eko Adisaputro, Solechan Solechan http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.stituwjombang.ac.id/index.php/attadbir/article/view/2504 Wed, 19 Nov 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Progam Tahfidz Al-Qur'an dalam Peningkatan Daya Saing Madrasah https://jurnal.stituwjombang.ac.id/index.php/attadbir/article/view/2599
This research aims to analyze the Human Resource Development (HRD) management of the Al-Qur'an tahfidz program and its role in enhancing the madrasa's competitiveness at MTs Madrasatul Qur'an Tebuireng Jombang. The demand for competitiveness in the modern era requires madrasas to possess unique advantages; however, tahfidz programs are often not supported by strategic human resource management for their teachers. This study employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with madrasa leadership and tahfidz coordinators, participatory observation, and documentation analysis of program planning and evaluation. The results indicate that HRD management is executed in two main structured stages: (1) Strategic planning, which includes annual coordination meetings for needs analysis, selective recruitment based on high qualification standards (proficient 30-juz memorization and pedagogical skills), and proper teacher placement. (2) Comprehensive implementation, which integrates professional development (methodology training), managerial development (supervision and evaluation), and spiritual guidance (halaqah and religious studies). A key finding reveals that this model is reinforced by close coordination between the madrasa and the dormitory (asrama). It is concluded that the synergy between selective strategic planning and integrated (professional-spiritual) comprehensive implementation effectively forms superior and high-character tahfidz teacher human resources, which serves as a key factor in enhancing the madrasa's institutional competitiveness.
Sunardi Sunardi, M.
