This study aims to identify and analyze the internalization of Islamic educational values contained in Sambas Malay wedding pantuns. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with content analysis techniques on wedding pantuns collected through observation and documentation. The results indicate that wedding pantuns contain values such as faith, noble character, responsibility, patience, gratitude, and the importance of maintaining marital harmony. This interaction involves various elements, such as students, teachers, principals, teaching materials, and learning resources and facilities. The development of science and technology requires updates in the use of technology in the learning process. Teachers are expected to be able to use various available learning media, as well as have the skills to develop media if the required media is not yet available. In the context of Islamic Religious Education (IRE), the use of learning media is influenced by several factors, including the teacher's educational background, teaching experience, professional education and training, and the availability of facilities. This study used a descriptive qualitative research method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. This method was used to gain an in-depth understanding of the factors that influence teachers' use of PAI learning media. The results of the study show that teacher competence, professional experience, and facility support are the main determinants of the effectiveness of learning media use. Thus, improving teachers' ability to utilize and develop learning media is essential to support a more optimal PAI learning process.</p> Herin Supardi Copyright (c) 2025 ILJ: Islamic Learning Journal 2025-11-27 2025-11-27 3 4 832 842 10.54437/iljjislamiclearningjournal.v3i4.2634 Peran Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam Mecegah Perilaku PMO Pada Remaja di Era Digital https://jurnal.stituwjombang.ac.id/index.php/ilj/article/view/2751 <p>The development of digital technology provides easy access to information for adolescents, but on the other hand, it increases the risk of exposure to Porn, Masturbation, and Orgasm (PMO) behaviors that have a negative impact on moral and spiritual development. This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in preventing PMO behaviors in adolescents in the digital era. This study uses a mixed method with a descriptive approach. Quantitative data were obtained through a questionnaire distributed to 30 adolescents aged 15–18 years, while qualitative data were obtained through a literature study. The results showed that the internalization of IRE values played an important role in shaping adolescents' moral awareness and self-control, although exposure to negative content in digital media remained a major challenge. The role of schools, families, and the integrated use of Islamic media and digital literacy have been proven to support efforts to prevent PMO behavior. This is a qualitative field-based study with a phenomenological approach. Data collection was conducted using observation, interviews, and documentation methods with the head of the Islamic boarding school, teaching staff, and students. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the implementation of the tradition of reciting Surah Yasin at the Miftahul Ulum Islamic Boarding School is an effort to achieve the school’s vision and mission: to shape students’ character, ethics, and social behavior through repeated interaction with the Quranic verses, thereby creating a spiritual and emotional connection with the divine word. The method used is a literature study with a descriptive qualitative approach, using sources from books, journal articles, and research reports. Content analysis was conducted to identify themes related to character values, the function of games in shaping student character, and strategies for integrating them into learning.
