PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN MATERI WAQAF DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN SIMPLE TAJWID DI KELAS IX-C SMPN 3 PETERONGAN JOMBANG

Abstract

Abstrak: Reading al-Qur’an is one of aspects in the teaching and learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Besides, PAI also includes the learning of tajwid that is knowledge of reading al-Qur’an correctly. One of PAI basic competences of  9^th class is waqaf (stop) many students, however, got difficulty to learn it. That is why the researcher made learning media simple tajwid with aimed to improve the students ability of that material. The basic theory of the media used is the students will more easily learn by experiencing themselves and in a concrete form. This media also provides opportunities for students to be able to learn actively, creatively, competitively and physically healthy, because they engage in archery activities contain various types of waqaf. The result proved that the use of the media is able to increase students ability in two cycles, with criteria of success was 80. The students average score of the first cycle was 76,60 and increased in the second cycle that was 88,20. It can be concluded that the implementation of simple tajwid media can increase students motivation and learning outcomes
