IMPLEMENTASI METODE CERAMAH (LECTURE METHOD) BERVARIATIF DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM PADA MATERI MENUNTUT ILMU SISWA KELAS IX-B SMPN 2 MEGALUH JOMBANG

This article is the result of a classroom action research using lecture as method and the research was done for three cycles. Each cycle includes planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. This research was held at SMPN 2 Megaluh on 9 to 23 March 2017. The subjects of this research were students of IX-B class in academic year of 2016/2017. Based on the research results and analysis, the first cycle was failed, because it did not achieve the teaching and learning activities results. In the second and third cycle, however, there has been improvement in the form of learning motivation and understanding of Islamic Religious Education material. The application of this method succeeded in attracting the students’ attention and increasing their ability to understand
material about studying. It can be shown from the results of pre-test, post-test and evaluation of learning conducted. The results of the first cycle, there were 15 students who had not been able to reach the KKM. In the second cycle, was only 7 students had not yet reached the KKM. This article concludes that to improve student understanding of PAI materials, needed to be pursued a creative and interesting lectures method, since it can be used to increase student motivation and understanding in learning PAI.
