PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT DALAM PENINGKATAN MUTU PENDIDIKAN DI MIN 2 MOJOKERTO

Abstract

This article is the forms of community participation along with supporting factors, obstacles and solutions. It is the research result conducted in MIN 2 Mojokerto. The research is descriptive qualitative. Data sources consist of person, place and paper. Data collection techniques gained through observation, interviews and documentation. To analyze the data, the researcher used model of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that community participation in MIN 2 Mojokerto was carried out in the form of voluntary work, decision making, thinking and financing. The supporting factors is the openness of madrasas in receiving advice, high parental care, parental support in supervising children and good communication relation between madrasas, committees and parents. The obstacles factors are the less knowledge of students’ parents about school program, few of them do not understand the use of madrasa funds, then the busyness and limited time of students’ parents. The solution is well communication with parents, explain the madrasa funds use, inviting student parents to supervise their child's development and participate in madrasa activities actively.
